Pre race blood testing was carried out.
Trainer P Nairn advised Stewards that WATERLOO SUNSET, a runner in race 3 tonight, will wear scalper boots on its hind legs after galloping at its last start after contacting its hind leg.
Trainer J. Stormont advised OUR DAINTY LADY (Race 3) was in season.
Both the above comments were relayed to Trackside.

Race 1 MITAVITE HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
SAFFRON CASTLETON and DJOKOVIC broke at the start.
SPRINGBANK EDEN broke racing into the first bend.
RUBY'S JEWEL broke passing the 2200 metres, resulting in checks to CYCLONE LUCKY SEVEN and CHARMING LAVRA with CHARMING LAVRA breaking.
I GOT RHYTHM raced four wide momentarily when over-racing passing the 1700 metres.
DJOKOVIC hung outwards through the back straight on the final occasion forcing I GOT RHYTHM wider.
Leaving the back straight on the final occasion, ALL ROYAL GAL had to be steadied when placed in restricted room to the inside of ANY OLD WAY, CYCLONE LUCKY SEVEN and the tiring I GOT RHYTHM. This resulted in ALL ROYAL GAL being placed over pylons.
An investigation was held into the reason ALL ROYAL GAL was placed over pylons rounding the final bend. After hearing from Drivers D. Butt (ANY OLD WAY), T. Macfarlane (CYCLONE LUCKY SEVEN) and J. Dunn (ALL ROYAL GAL) Stewards were unable to apportion blame on to any one driver.
ANY OLD WAY and SPRINGBANK EDEN trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
RUBY'S JEWEL broke again passing the 200 metres.
 
Race 2 SIMS PACIFIC METALS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LITTLE RASCAL was back out of position at the start. Driver J. Dunn was warned to maintain his barrier position.
JAY DUB over-raced in the early stages.
Driver J. Dunn (LITTLE RASCAL) accidentally dropped his whip passing the 150 metres.

JASINSKY momentarily stood on the mark at the start and was slow away.
 
Race 4 JACOBSEN HEADSTONES FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BETTOR THINK TWICE weakened inside the last 400 metres. Driver D. Dunn advised that this filly was striking a knee.
ALBUQUERQUE was held up in the initial stages of the run home.
 
Race 5 BRECKON FARMS NORTHERN TROTTING DERBY (MOBILE) Video  Video 
ROCK TONIGHT trotted roughly in the score up and broke for a few strides being a length out of position at the start.
PARAMOUNT DREAM broke approaching the 400 metres.
HABIBTI IVY broke passing the 350 metres.
 
Race 6 MAGNESS BENROW SIRES STAKES FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE) Video  Video 
DREAM ABOUT ME hung outward in the middle stages of the score up hampering SEM'S DELIGHT and ARDEN'S CHOICE.
SEM'S DELIGHT hung outward just prior to the start and was a length out of position.
NORTHERN VELOCITY raced greenly in the middle stages and was then awkwardly placed to the outside of GAMMA LADY which shifted ground outwards near the 900 metres resulting in NORTHERN VELOCITY racing four wide for the remainder of the journey.
Driver T. Williams advised he did not activate the removable deafeners on the winner DREAM ABOUT ME.
 
Race 7 RAY DICKIE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
HIGHVIEW FREDDY lay in in the score up and was slightly out of position at the start.
THE FAITHFUL over-raced and was awkwardly placed behind SNOOKI passing the 1800 metres.
HIGHVIEW FREDDY gave ground quickly rounding the final bend. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
THE FAITHFUL had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the home straight.
 
Race 8 DAWSON HARFORD & PARTNERS NZ MESSENGER CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE) Video  Video 
MESSINI was improved three wide from inside the 1400 metres and raced in this position without cover for the remainder of the journey, weakening inside the last 400 metres.
TE KAWAU had difficulty obtaining a clear run late in the run home.
 
Race 9 2015 CANAM ROWE CUP (STAND) Video  Video 
STENT was fractious at the start and delayed the start.
KING DENNY trotted unevenly and was slow away.
SHEEMON broke at the start losing considerable ground, eventually being pulled up.
KINCASLOUGH broke passing the 1100 metres, failing to settle and was eventually pulled up.
FLYING ISA, after being improved three wide approaching the 800 metres, failed to run on inside the last 400 metres, finishing well back.

LANCEWOOD LIZZIE hung inwards rounding the final bend.

DARCEE and KIPPENBERGER both tangled at the start and were slow away.
STRIKE THE GOLD, when attempting to improve from three deep on the running line, raced in restricted room inside FIRST HOME in the passing lane throughout the run home.
