Race 1 NRM EVOLVE AMATEUR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
There were no claims lodged for PUREORA PAREE or OUR SOUTHERN MAN.
Just prior to the start EASY FOR CULLEN went off stride settling quickly after losing a length and a half.
PUREORA PAREE over raced when in the one out without cover position after unsuccessfully contesting for the lead over the initial stages of the race.
WITH A VENGEANCE over raced in the middle stages.
PUREORA PAREE weakened quickly inside the last 500 metres.
WITH A VENGEANCE was inclined to lay in when improving around the tiring PUREORA PAREE passing the 400 metres.
Amateur driver S Butcher advised that the removable deafener failed to activate on LUCKY JOHN. The activation cord clip malfunctioned.
Amateur Driver J Kriechbaumer was questioned in regard to his driving tactics on the well supported OUR SOUTHERN MAN and in particular as to whether he would have been better served to have improved around mid-race given the slow tempo. Mr Kriechbaumer stated that from its wide barrier draw he was instructed to restrain the gelding and save it for one run. He further explained he improved from inside the 500 metres but was forced 4 wide and paced roughly round the final turn. He further added he was disappointed with OUR SOUTHERN MAN's run as there was no response when he activated the removable deafeners.
 
Race 2 PGG WRIGHTSON NZYSS NORTHERN GRADUETTE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
TUAPEKA SKY when racing one out without cover paced roughly rounding the final bend and throughout the run home.
BETTOR LOVE ME paced roughly over a mark on the track just short of the winning post.

SHARDON'S SHERALEE was held up early in the run home.
 
Race 4 HARCOURTS TE AWAMUTU JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
No claims were lodged for VIEWFIELD APACHE.
SLYSU was slow to begin from barrier position 1 after pacing unevenly for the first 400 metres. This gelding was also inclined to lay in rounding the first bend. SLYSU broke free of interference passing the 1200 metres and broke again after contacting pylons with 200 metres to run. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed against the racing manners of this gelding.
ASUKA (J Wallace) locked sulky wheels with VIEWFIELD APACHE rounding the final bend entering the straight for the run home placing ASUKA at a disadvantage. Junior Driver J Wallace with the assistance of Senior Driver J Abernethy was shown the video coverage and spoken to advisedly.
Junior Driver D Ferguson with the assistance of Senior Driver P Ferguson was shown the video coverage of his drive on SLYSU entering the straight when contacting pylons prior to the passing lane and cautioned in regard to his obligation to ensure he complied with Rule 869(7A)(a)&(b).
 
Race 5 JUDY ALEXANDER RETIREMENT HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
There were no claims lodged for DRAGON LADY or FOXTROT JACK.
SAPPHIRE CASTLETON broke at the start settling quickly.
SUNDON'S MOUNTAIN broke at the start losing considerable ground and broke again approaching the 1000 metres losing its chance.
TON TINE broke racing into the first bend galloping badly losing its chance.
FOXTROT JACK gave ground quickly inside the last 400 metres finishing well back.
MADAM SIMONE raced erratically in the passing lane contacting pylons.
 
Race 6 TE AROHANUI HAURAKI MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SHEZA SPRINGFIELD was inclined to lay in on the bends and lay out on the straights.
MEMPHIS MISS over raced in the middle stages and was inclined to lay in on the bends in particular the home bend losing momentum.
HARRY HOO when in the lead raced greenly and shifted wider on the track rounding the final turn into the home straight.
 
Race 7 LIC HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
MALOO broke at the start losing several lengths.
CULLIES DELIGHT, BETTOR SPIRITS and AMBRO COURAGE all made mistakes at the start with CULLIES DELIGHT and AMBRO COURAGE losing several lengths.
MAJOR STAR after beginning well looked to improve inside the breaking runners however was checked by the galloping CULLIES DELIGHT. MAJOR STAR broke from its gait and was inconvenienced losing approximately 20 metres.
CULLIES DELIGHT was held up rounding the bend and over the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 8 PAUL DENIZE 50TH BIRTHDAY MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
CULLECT A HOLIDAY pulled fiercely in the lead over the early and middle stages.
CROCKET'S CULLEN from inside the final 900 metres proceeded to pull hard when being improved three wide and broke free of interference with 600 metres to run. The colt was stood down for 14 days up to and including 16 April 2015.
PURE CHRISTIAN was held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
Driver T MacFarlane advised that RIVERBOAT SUE pulled a flat sulky wheel tyre over the latter stages of the race.
