Race 1 DAVIS TRADING MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MISS BADLANDS was inclined to lay out on the bends.
ARCANO struck two pylons rounding the bend near the 300 metres.
CLASSIC BET had difficulty obtaining clear racing room early in the run home and was then held up over the final 100 metres going to the line untested.
THATSHOWIE ROLL and MACARDO momentarily locked wheel stays passing the 100 metres.
Junior Drivers A Poutama (OUR WICKLOW) and K Marshall (THATSHOWIE ROLL) were both warned to correct their whip action.
 
Race 2 SILVESTER CLARK MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
GOLDEN BILLION was a length out of position starting from the unruly position.
SOUL HANOVER was improved by Junior Driver K Marshall approaching the 800 metres to race three wide however was under pressure racing down the back straight and weakened inside the last 500 metres finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had recovered quickly after being suspected of choking down during the running. A warning was placed on the racing manners of this mare.
Driver P Ferguson momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky footrest when driving SLYSU with 100 metres to run.
The authorisation of the payment of the 4th placing of WAVE SONG was withheld until such time that it was established that this mare was in the correct gait when lapped on by the 5th placed TRAVELLING MAN when reaching the finishing line. WAVE SONG paced roughly just prior to the finishing line and then recovered.

No claims were lodged for SILVER STREAM.
SILVER STREAM trotted unevenly over the initial stages and was slow away.
THE PRINCE trotted roughly over the initial stages.
SILVER STREAM trotted roughly and broke near the 1600 metres losing considerable ground and effectively all chance.
THE PRINCE broke near the 1200 metres losing considerable ground.
BIM BOM BAY broke passing the 600 metres.
PALAIS ROYAL broke passing the 200 metres.
 
Race 4 PROGRAMMED PROPERTY SERVICES HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
ESPRESSO SHOT proved reluctant to take it's barrier position during the pre-race formations and was ordered to start to the outside of the unruly runners by Starter G Phillips.
ESPRESSO SHOT then refused to step away at the start losing considerable ground and effectively all chance. A warning was placed on the standing start manners of this mare.
ELSU ATTACK broke at the start losing approximately 30 metres.
CHILTONS VOCATION hung inward and broke passing the 400 metres.
CONTINENTAL LOVER broke free of interference approaching the 300 metres.
TUI SPUR broke passing the 100 metres.
 
Race 5 TE KAWAU MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
STARS AND SOUND was caught three wide in the early stages when improving to the one out without cover position near the 1100 metres.
TAFADHALI paced roughly and broke for a short distance near the 300 metres.
LADY MOLLY was held up for the majority of the run home.

HEY KNOWITALL paced roughly over the early stages.
BLACK SANTANA was held up over the early and middle stages of the run home.
Driver A Shutkowski (MOLLY SIMS) was warned in regard to improving where there was insufficient room inside GIVETHEJOBTOJOYCE making contact with track pylons in the early stages of the run home.
Driver D Jones was reprimanded for using his whip on HEY KNOWITALL when not in contention.
An investigation was held into the check received by HEY KNOWITALL (D Jones) over the early stages of the race when racing to the inside of LADY MARIA (A Pyers) and the outside of GIVETHEJOBTOJOYCE (B Weaver). It was established that GIVETHEJOBTOJOYCE was inclined to lay out at the start and as LADY MARIA was crossing HEY KNOWITALL shortly after the start. No action was warranted other than to warn the Driver A Pyers to exercise greater care.
 
Race 7 BETTORS DELIGHT AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
The authorisation of the payment of the first placing ELLIOT DANIEL (S Phelan) was withheld until such time that the connections of the second placed STEAL A GRIN (S Abernethy) were given the opportunity to review the video coverage of the run home. ELLIOT DANIEL was inclined to lay in throughout the run home. STEAL A GRIN was reluctant to take the passing lane and was inclined to lay out throughout the run home but always had sufficient room to improve on the inside of ELLIOT DANIEL. The connections of STEAL A GRIN did not wish to lodge a protest.
A Minor Infringement Notice was issued and a $100 fine imposed on Trainer J Kriechbaumer for presenting ELLIOT DANIEL with blinds which had not been notified.
 
Race 8 POWER FARMING PALMERSTONIAN MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
EYRE HOSTESS broke racing into the first bend inconveniencing BECKINSALE. A warning was placed on this mare's racing manners record.
MACH CRUISER over-raced and veered outwards with 1300 metres to run after choking down this horse being eventually pulled up by Driver J Abernethy. A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners record. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
ROSETTA STONE weakened inside the last 500 metres.
 
Race 9 SEE YOU SUNDAY 1ST RACE 12.20 MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
SHAPEOFTHINGSTOCOME over-raced over the early stages.
LITTLE MASTER weakened from inside the 1200 metres compounding finishing well back. This gelding was declared ineligible for 14 days up to and including the 9th of April 2015.
CHEVRON QUALITY broke free of interference passing the 900 metres losing several lengths settling at the rear. A final warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners.
FRANCO THANE began to weaken inside the 800 metres finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed this gelding had an elevated heart rate and respiratory rate and that it was walking out short and stiff in the hind quarters. A veterinary certificate of fitness is required before this gelding resumes.
C A PENNY locked wheels with CHEROKEE RED passing the 500 metres.
Driver S Doody dropped his foot momentarily from the sulky footrest when driving CHRISTIAN KNIGHT rounding the final bend.
CUFFS MCRAE broke losing its chance with approximately 200 metres to run.
An Information was lodged alleging that Driver A Shutkowski was in breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove C A PENNY carelessly when he shifted inward causing interference to CUFFS MCRAE (T Mitchell) with approximately 200 metres to run. The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
An Information was lodged alleging that Junior Driver D Ferguson was in breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip unnecessarily on FRANCO THANE when the gelding was tiring and out of contention. The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $350.
