Near the 1400 metres MILLWOOD PINK LADY raced keenly and was awkwardly positioned to the back of GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME, this resulted in an easing of the pace in the one out line with the worst affected being B D WINDERMERE (A Armour) which broke and lost its chance inconveniencing JUSTALITTLEBETTOR. After speaking with driver A Armour and viewing the films, no further action was required. | |

JACCKA JUSTY again trotted roughly rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance of JACCKA JUSTY, driver J Cox could offer no tangible reason for the gelding's performance only to add that the gelding had trialled well leading into tonight's event and should derive benefit from the first race day start in some time. | |
Authorisation of 4th placing being awarded to LIVE THE DREAM was withheld until Stewards had viewed the films and established that the breach was caused by interference from QUALITY INVASION. | |

PETITE ONE broke on the first turn and settled at the rear of the field. | |
AGNES BROWN which was racing outside the leader broke approaching the 1200 metres with trailing runners having to take evasive action. | |
CYCLONE JETER broke near the 1200 metres when at the rear. | |
PETITE ONE broke passing the 1100 metres then again on the final turn losing all chance. | |
WANNA PLAY raced wide from the 500 metres when attempting to improve. | |
ARYA hung in near the 250 metres and contacted several pylons as did HABIBTI IVY which was trailing ARYA. | |
A protest was lodged against the 1st placing of HABIBTI IVY (B Orange) under Rule 869(7B) on the grounds that HABIBTI IVY hung inwards and raced over a number of pylons on the final turn. After viewing the replays, the protest was withdrawn by Stewards with leave by the JCA after it was established that HABIBTI IVY's sulky wheel had not protruded inside the pylons for more than 30 metres. | |

A protest was lodged against the 2nd placing of WILLOW (N Rasmussen) under Rule 869(7B) on the grounds that WILLOW gained an unfair advantage when hanging inwards and racing over a number of pylons in excess of 30 metres on the final turn. A post-race veterinary examination of NUI TOC TIEN revealed no abnormalities. | |
SECRET'S OUT was denied clear racing room throughout the run home. | |
MR FRANKLIN had difficulty obtaining clear running in the middle stages of the run home. | |
A post-race veterinary examination was carried out on ZAKSPATROL after the gelding returned to the birdcage with significant hopple chafe. The connections were advised a veterinary clearance is required prior to resuming. | |
