Race 1 EYE MAGAZINE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DELIGHTFUL OFFER was held up by the tiring HASTEN BROMAC rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance of HASTEN BROMAC, Trainer/Driver A. Herlihy advised could offer no tangible reason for the gelding's performance. A subsequent veterinary inspection could not detect any obvious abnormalities.
 
Race 2 SIMS PACIFIC METALS TROT Video  Video 
SHPEEDY was reluctant to come into position at the start delaying the start.
SHPEEDY and THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSON broke at the start with SHAY SCOTT breaking shortly after.
ROCK TONIGHT broke briefly entering the first bend.
SHPEEDY broke again on a number of occasions.
CHARMING LAVRA hung outwards near the 1100 metres.
SHPEEDY was placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
SAFFRON CASTLETON was removed from the unruly for standing starts.
Starter F. Phelan and Driver B. Mangos (DAUNTLESS) were spoken to in regard to the positioning of the unruly horses.
 
Race 3 BRECKON FARMS YOUNG GUNS CARDIGAN BAY STAKES (MOBILE) Video  Video 
MAX PHACTOR (P. Butcher) was awkwardly placed to the back of LAZARUS when attempting to shift into the trail with 1400m to run, this in turn placed EL JACKO in restricted room momentarily. Driver P. Butcher was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.
 
Race 4 CROMBIE LOCKWOOD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ALTA LEROY was inclined to lay in rounding the bends.
ALIANTE paced roughly inside the last 150 metres and broke just short of the finishing line.
 
Race 5 GOTTA GO CULLEN YOUNG GUNS DELIGHTFUL LADY CLASSIC (MOBILE) Video  Video 
Trainers T. and G. Chmiel were issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100.00 for presenting NEK TIME without the notified sliding blinds.
ARDEN'S CHOICE broke approaching the first bend losing its chance.
DREAM ABOUT ME hung inwards shortly after the start.
LICKLE LICKLE hung inwards on several occasions.
POPPY MAGUIRE hung inwards and brushed several markers rounding the final bend.
GOODLOOKINGBABE veered inwards entering the straight momentarily shifting inside the marker line near the 200 metres.
KILLER QUEEN was held up in the initial stages of the run home.
KILLER QUEEN (S. Lawson) shifted inwards when not clear of LICKLE LICKLE passing the 100 metres which resulted in LICKLE LICKLE being tightened and taken inwards onto NEK TIME. This resulted in LICKLE LICKLE breaking. S. Lawson admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) (Careless Driving) for the above incident. The J.C.A. imposed a fine of $300.00.
Driver T. Williams advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners on the winner DREAM ABOUT ME.
 
Race 6 2015 WOODLANDS STUD NORTHERN DERBY (MOBILE) Video  Video 
KEPT UNDER WRAPS paced roughly racing into the first bend.
KEPT UNDER WRAPS over-raced in the early and middle stages.
Near the 300 metres CHANGE STRIDE hung outwards and was awkwardly placed to the back of ROBBIE BURNS which was weakening.
BRILLIANT STRIKE improved five and six wide rounding the home bend.
FOLLOW THE STARS shifted ground outwards marginally in the run home inconveniencing HAVE FAITH IN ME.
Driver J. Dunn (ROBBIE BURNS) reported that he received a punctured sulky tyre on the final turn.
 
Race 7 MAJESTIC HORSE FLOATS GREENLANE CUP (HANDICAP) Video  Video 
UNCAS broke at the start losing its chance.
IDLE BONES had to be steadied on the first turn when attempting to improve to the inside of OUR DAINTY LADY (M.W. McKendry) which shifted down into a position on the marker line in mid-field. Driver M. McKendry was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.
PRIME POWER raced three wide from inside the 1400 metres.
BONECHIP broke over the concluding stages.
A post race veterinary examination of KINCASLOUGH, following the mare's seemingly disappointing performance, revealed the early signs of a respiratory infection. Co-Trainer A. Edmonds advised that they would be taking bloods in the coming days and undertook to report the findings to Stewards.
 
Race 8 2015 TRILLIAN TRUST AUCKLAND CUP (MOBILE) Video  Video 
The front shoes were removed from SMOLDA at the start.
The murphy blind was removed from CHRISTEN ME after the gelding warmed up unfavourably.
LEWY RISK hung inwards on the bends.
SMOLDA raced keenly when outside the leader in the middle stages.
ELIOS tired from the 700 metres momentarily inconveniencing OHOKA PUNTER. A subsequent veterinary examination on ELIOS failed to detect any obvious abnormalities.
Near the 450 metres, ADORE ME paced roughly and continued to do so for some distance rounding the final bend. A subsequent veterinary examination at the request of Co-Trainer/Driver M. Purdon revealed the mare to be suffering from mild soreness in the hind quarters. M. Purdon undertook to report the progress of the mare to the Stewards in the coming days.
Driver A. Herlihy (OHOKA PUNTER) was advised to change his whip action.
 
Race 9 JACOBSEN HEADSTONES HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
STAR FILLY stood on the mark and was slow to begin.
SAPPHIRE CASTLETON and PYRAMID MONARCH broke briefly at the start.
DJOKOVIC broke entering the first bend settling shortly after to regain the lead. DJOKOVIC over-raced in the middle stages.
DJOKOVIC broke passing the 300 metres and was shifted inside the markers.
PYRAMID MONARCH was held up for clear racing room until near the 50 metres.
Trainer M. Jones advised EYRE I COME had been slow to recover. Mr Jones further advised that he was disappointed with the gelding's effort and advised that he would be taking bloods and having the horse scoped in the coming days and undertook to report the findings to Stewards.
