Race 1 GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND TROT Video  Video 
At the start or over the initial stages WINGS ON FIRE, TOASTED, MAJESTIC ONE, SHAY SCOTT, THE KEYSTONE KID, and SCARRYMCLEARY broke. SCARRYMCLEARY was subsequently pulled up with a warning placed on the racing manners record of this gelding.
GREY STOKE broke at the 1400 metres.
KNEAD THE DOUGH broke passing the 1100 metres.
WINSOME LUCK hung inwards rounding the final bend.
THE KEYSTONE KID broke passing the 250 metres.
ALTA VENETIA trotted roughly over the concluded stages breaking shortly after the line.
SIR HENRY CASTLETON trotted unevenly throughout the run home with horseman D Butcher being unable to drive out this gelding to full advantage.

COMETS DREAM tired from the 800 metres.The connections were warned to improve the geldings racing performance.
KHLOE (M McKendry) tired from the 500 metres.
BLUE BIRD broke passing the 250 metres with the trailing STAR ELECT having to take evasive action.The connections were advised a warning was placed against the gelding's racing record.

YOGI JOHNSON and SUNOVA broke at the start.
YOGI JOHNSON broke near the 1600 metres.
MIGHTY SUNNY broke passing the 600 metres.
MOB STAR raced greenly rounding the final bend.
An information was lodged alleging Driver R Brosnan ( KAWARAU SPUR) was in a breach of rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner in the run home.The JCA upheld the charge imposing a $200.00 fine.
 
Race 4 EIF INTERNATIONAL LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MR WUNDERBAR broke coming out of the pre race formation and was back at the start point. The connections warned to improve the geldings mobile manners.
TULLOW raced greenly near the 1400 metres. As a result the trailing R J BOPPER reacted badly when horseman R Brosnan took hold going into a break causing checks to CHARLIE HARPER, THE TRACKER, LIVING BLUE CHIP and KINGSTON. The connections of R J BOPPER were advised that a warning was placed on this geldings racing record.
IN FULL FLIGHT hung outwards around the final bend forcing SKY ART wider.
CHARLIE HARPER broke rounding the final bend.
TULLOW was held up in the initial stages in the run home then broke when shifting ground inwards when obtaining clear running near the 200 metres.

There were no claims lodged.
EASY EMPRESS was slow to begin.
MOMENT OF TRUTH hung inwards and broke briefly near the 350 metres.
JAGERMEISTER trotted roughly rounding the final bend and was inconvenienced on the back of SUNDON'S MOUNTAIN when MOMENT OF TRUTH broke momentarily.
THE SCRUFF broke passing the 200 metres.
JAGERMEISTER was held up in the middle stages of the run home.
ITSNOWORNEVER was removed from the unruly list for standing starts.
A Information was lodged alleging that Trainers Rogerson and Blanchard were in breach of Rule 865 (2) in that THE SCRUFF was presented to race without the notified pacifier and the JCA imposed a $200 fine.
 
Race 6 CADUCEUS CLUB FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LYN'S DELIGHT hung inwards throughout the race.
SPARE CHANGE hung inwards in the middle stages.
SPARE CHANGE hung inwards rounding the final bend.
When questioned regarding the performance of SPARE CHANGE driver T Mitchell advised that the filly hung throughout and had been striking its knees.
A post race veterinary examination of VENGEANCE revealed the mare to be lame in the left fore fetlock. A veterinary certificate is required before this horse races again. Trainer S Argue advised that he was no longer persevering with this mare as a racing proposition.
 
Race 7 HEWES METALS FRANKLIN COUNTRY CUP 2015 (HANDICAP PACE) Video  Video 
No claims were lodged.
WESTBURN COURAGE, SIMPLY STUNNING, RIVER POLKA and RANDALSTOWN all made tardy beginnings and were slow away.
RIVER POLKA (favourite) was left one out without cover for the first 1600 metres and was then shuffled back to four back one out before improving three wide without cover inside the last 500 metres. Then ran on to finish into 5th placing.

ATOMIC JET hung in the initial stages of the score up and was back slightly at the start.
WAIPIPI FALCON weekend inside the last 500 meters finishing well back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
Race 10 FLAIR EQUINE NASAL STRIPS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Horseman D Butcher was question in regards to the driving tactics he adopted on the well supported runner MAJOR CLASSIC. He advised that this colt is best suited to racing with cover to be saved for one run and that his current form was on grass tracks. He stated that he was pleased with his horses performance as it ran on but was a victim of a slow 65.2 second last half and a subsequent fast 56.5 last half.
