When questioned regarding the performance of DIGITAL ART, driver M O'Brien could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare revealed no abnormalities. Stable representative J Markham undertook to notify Stewards of anything that may come to light in the coming days which could explain tonight's performance.
BRUTE UTE ANVIL broke passing the 400 metres after the gelding's offside hind leg contacted the sulky wheel of BILLY JACK. Mr Bennett admitted the breach and after considering submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Mr Bennett's Amateur Horseman's licence from the conclusion of this evening's racing up to and including 8 May 2015.
