BETTORS CARD paced roughly for several strides near the 600 metres when racing in restricted room.
LISA'S LAWYER was badly held up for clear running until inside the 100 metres.
DREAMY VICTOR, which had led up, tired badly over the final stages. Trainer J Abernethy advised that DREAMY VICTOR would not be persevered with as a racing proposition.

SUNOVA broke on the first turn losing considerable ground.
SUNDONNA was held up until inside the final 200 metres.
BURT MUNRO was held up briefly in the middle stages of the run home.
 
Race 3 JOHN DAVIS MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
EXTREME CARAT broke near the 1700 metres after becoming unbalanced racing over the crossing with the trailing runners having to take evasive action.
CELTIC WARRIOR broke passing the 1400 metres and settled at the rear before then being taken forward to race outside the leader near the 1000 metres. A warning was placed against this gelding's racing manners.
 
Race 4 TERRY WALKER CELEBRATES HIS 70TH BIRTHDAY BASH MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
CHARLIE HARPER paced roughly racing over the crossing near the 1700 metres and lay in forcing LIVING BLUE CHIP over several track markers.
FOREVER AN ANGEL and BRYDON JET both became unbalanced racing over the crossing and broke with FOREVER AN ANGEL losing considerable ground.
R J BOPPER paced roughly inside the 300 metres.
G J SEELSTAR paced roughly for several strides when being shifted wider on the track by STAR ELECT near the 300 metres.
BLUE BIRD broke passing the 100 metres.
Driver P Ferguson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners of the winner SOUL MAN.

WONDER ANVIL broke early in the score up but recovered to be in position at the start.
CHARMING DESIRE paced roughly over the crossing near the 1700 metres contacting several track markers.
RED SKY NIGHT contacted several track markers near the 1500 metres.
HEART'S DELIGHT gave ground inside the final 800 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed that the filly was displaying a slow recovery along with early symptoms of a respiratory infection.
CHARMING DESIRE was held up for clear running until inside the 200 metres.

D Butcher was approved as a late change of driver for TOMMIRAY due to the listed driver S Cruickshank being unwell.
SILVER STREAM and MOMENT OF TRUTH were not claimed from this event.
GINGER BERTHA lay in contacting pylons near the 800 meters.
YALDY BOYZ (favourite) broke passing the 400 metres and lost ground before settling at the rear. YALDY BOYZ then finished on strongly into sixth place.
Driver R Brosnan (GINGER BERTHA) reported that he did not activate the ear plugs as he thought that they had released prematurely earlier in the running.
Driver S Abernethly (OUR SUPER RAM - winner) reported that he had not activated the deafeners.
 
Race 7 HUAPAI TAVERN 2015 KUMEU COUNTRY CUP (HANDICAP PACE) Video  Video 
S Abernethy was approved as a late driving change for IMAJOLLYWALLY due to an office error.
MAJOR OUCH tended to over race when outside the leader during the middle stages.
BRYDON DELIGHT obtained an inside run early in the home straight the final time when PRICILLAS GIRL (leader) shifted out under pressure.
HOWZAT and IMAJOLLYWALLY were unable to obtain clear racing room until inside the final 150 metres.
PRICILLAS GIRL (favourite) improved forward to lead near the 1600 metres but was run down over the final stages into 6th place. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Butcher stated that he was not disappointed with the run given the distance of the event and that this was the mare's first race for a month.
 
Race 8 GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
No claims were lodged for OUR SOUTHERN MAN in this race.
LEROY BROGDEN broke in the score up losing its chance. A warning was placed against this gelding's barrier manners from the mobile.
OUR SOUTHERN MAN pulled hard during the middle stages when towards the rear.
LAMBRUSCO shifted out under pressure early in the run home which resulted in PUREORA PAREE obtaining an inside run. LAMBRUSCO then locked wheels briefly with CLASSIEGENT near the 150 metres.
MAJOR CLASSIC was held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.
