SHAY SCOTT broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
ROCK TONIGHT broke passing the winning post on the first occasion and then again passing the 1700 metres.
ALTA VENETIA broke near the 1800 metres losing considerable ground.
SCARRYMCLEARY broke passing the 900 metres losing all chance.
ALTA VENETIA broke near the 700 metres when at the rear.
GREY STOKE broke near the 400 metres when towards the rear.
THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSON, which was leading, broke on straightening for the run home checking KNEAD THE DOUGH, which also galloped, with both horses losing all chance. WINGS ON FIRE and SPRINGFIELD HUGH were inconvenienced in this incident when having to take evasive action.

LOOK AND LISTEN was held up on the final turn when TEMBI commenced to give ground.

CAN'T EXPLAIN IT (leader) shifted out on straightening for the run home. This gelding then continued to tend to shift out placing JIMMY MACELROY in restricted room and had to be corrected by Driver B. Orange. Driver D. Butcher (JIMMY MACELROY - 3rd) advised that his chances had not been affected in this incident.
VIBE was held up over the final stages of the run home.

CLASSICAL ART tended to lay in on the first turn when towards the rear.
 
Race 5 ROSSLANDS HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
STAR FILLY broke after 200 metres and took no further part after the off-side rein came adrift. Trainer S. Cornwall was charged under Rule 864(2)(d) for failing to ensure that the rein was affixed so as not to come adrift with the J.C.A. imposing a fine of $200.00.
MISS PEGASUS stumbled and almost went down on its nose approaching the 400 metres when at the rear and lost all chance. A post-race veterinary examination of MISS PEGASUS revealed no abnormalities.
JASINSKY shifted out under pressure in the early stages of the run home, momentarily inconveniencing CYBERSPACE. Driver L. Chin (JASINSKY) was shown the replay in relation to the manner in which he had driven in this incident and warned to take immediate corrective action in the future.
 
Race 6 WOODLANDS STUD MILE HIGH MARES SERIES FINAL (MOBILE PACE) Video  Video 
Trainer B. Purdon (ALIANTE) was issued with a $100.00 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 849(2) after ALIANTE was presented with an incorrect saddle cloth number.
CHARLESTON BELLE broke passing the 1300 metres when at the rear, but soon settled. A warning was placed against this mare's racing manners.

Co-trainers M. Purdon and N. Rasmussen (ITZ BETTOR TO WIN) were charged a $25.00 colour fee.
HAVE FAITH IN ME broke at the start losing ground.
FIRST HOME broke shortly after the start and settled in midfield.
CHACHINGCHACHING and ITZ BETTOR TO WIN locked wheels passing the 2100 metres, with ITZ BETTOR TO WIN galloping briefly.

MAKAREWA JAKE was a late scratching at 3.00 p.m. on veterinary advice.
WANNA PLAY broke at the start losing considerable ground.
ACE MOMENT broke approaching the 1400 metres and trailed the field.
WANNA PLAY broke again passing the 1400 metres losing all chance.
KD HALL was held up early in the run home and again just short of the winning post.

MOB STAR was slow over the early stages. SHPEEDY broke passing the 2400 metres losing considerable ground.
CHARMING LAVRA tended to lay in rounding the bends.
MOB STAR lay in noticeably on the final turn when attempting to improve three and four wide.

GERSHWIN broke late in the score up losing considerable ground.
