Race 1 ROYAL HOTEL TROT Video  Video 
NATIVES LASTING LOVE broke at the start.
Shortly after the start NEED SUCCESS broke.
JOHNNY ALEXANDER and PRINCESS MACKENDON broke racing into the first bend.
NATIVES LASTING LOVE broke when placed in restricted room on the inside of POPPA DON which was shifting ground to evade breaking runners.
SHAY SCOTT broke passing the 1700 metres and lost ground.
PRINCESS MACKENDON again broke passing the 800 metres.
AGNES BROWN raced roughly on the final bend when improving its position wider on the track.
LOCH FORWARD had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home. Once clear this gelding trotted roughly and broke for a brief distance which inconvenienced POPPA DON and SHAY SCOTT who had to be steadied.
AGNES BROWN broke and lost ground with approximately 40 metres remaining when being urged by driver D Dunn.
 
Race 2 MARLBOROUGH EXPRESS PACE Video  Video 
At the start CRUSADER BROMAC broke and shifted outwards inconveniencing TRAVELLING MAN with CRUSADER BROMAC losing considerable distance.
CAESAGOLD began slowly and lost a considerable amount of ground.
SHADOWMAN was held up in the early stages of the run home.
SIOUX WEST and MOTU BLAZING SPIRIT hung inwards under pressure throughout the final straight.
NOVA TIME raced roughly at various stages of the final 200 metres.
 
Race 3 MORE FM MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LOVE THAT GUEST broke in the score up and was back some distance at the start. This gelding then broke again when the start point was reached losing its chance. Stewards placed a warning on the gelding's barrier record.
Racing into the first bend ALTA MARCELLO broke inconveniencing HYBRID. Stewards placed a warning on the gelding's racing record.
PESCADO broke passing the 500 metres. Stewards placed a warning on the mare's racing record.
B Orange, as the driver of CHAMPAGNE DREAMS, reported that he had not activated the sliding blinds.
4th place being awarded to ALTA MARCELLO was withheld until such time as Stewards could confirm it had not breached the breaking horse regulations.
 
Race 4 INTERISLANDER MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Trainer B Rochford was fined $100 for presenting DONEGAL STAR GRETCH with sliding blinds that had not been notified.
The start was delayed after BUONO AMICI was late on to the track due to requiring the farrier's attention.
Racing into the first bend BOB'S HOLME broke briefly.
Near the 2100 metres ANOTHER MEDLEY broke inconveniencing BURN OFF which lost significant ground in consequence.
Near the 1100 metres ALONZO AMIR, which was hanging outwards, locked stays with the improving CORINGA DELIGHT who shifted ground inwards marginally. This resulted in both runners having to be restrained and lose ground. The trailing MISS BADLANDS and DONEGAL STAR GRETCH were checked at this time.
DUBONNAY TWIST raced keenly in the middle stages.
R Close (SANDVIK STAR) dropped his whip in the back straight.
When questioned regarding the performance of CORINGA DELIGHT driver W Higgs explained that his mare had travelled well until the point where she was restrained due to locking wheels at which stage Mr Higgs felt she had switched off.

JOSEPH H was slow to begin.
TEHORO HOLLY, PRESTINE and COLONEL KLINK broke racing into the first bend.
JOSEPH H broke passing the 400 metres.
SUCCESSFUL WOMAN broke over the concluding stages.
CHARMING LAVRA hung outwards under pressure in the run home.
JOSEPH H began awkwardly.
 
Race 6 WOODBOURNE TAVERN HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
THEBESTLOVE and SANTORINI SUNSET broke in the early stages.
SARAH PALIN hung outwards on the final bend causing the mare to lose several lengths. Driver P Davis advised he would switch the rein pricker to the opposite side for its race on Sunday.
ASTRAPI trotted roughly over the concluding stages and broke with approximately 20 metres remaining.
Stewards lodged a protest under rule 870(5) alleging that this runner, when galloping over the line, had been lapped on by ZACHARY BINX, TART N TIGHTS and AILE ROUGE. Trainer/Driver M Jones did not contest the protest with ASTRAPI being relegated by the JCA to 5th placing.

B Weaver as the driver of PILOT OFFICER was fined $100 for being responsible for PILOT OFFICER being presented on to the track with under ten minutes remaining.
DONEGAL CAM'S CARD was unable to leave the pre race formation with the remainder of the field and in consequence to this started several lengths out of position. The connections were advised that their gelding would now be drawn unruly from mobile start races.
MEDIA QUEEN broke shortly after the start which inconvenienced JUSTOCLASSIE, MILLWOOD PINK LADY, LITTLE LION MAN and SCOTLYNN MACH. The Stewards placed a warning on the barrier record of this filly.
B Orange dropped his foot from the sulky foot rest in the run home when activating gear on TWITTER BROMAC.
LITTLE LION MAN was held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
 
Race 8 DOUG BEATTIE MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Trainer A Stuart was fined $100 for failing to present WHOOSH FACTOR with the notified blinds.
LOVEMETWOTIMES paced roughly as the start was affected.
Racing into the first bend LOVEMETWOTIMES broke.
BIG LUCY over raced when leading in the middle stages.
THUNDERBIRD TARA raced keenly during the middle stages.
BRACKEN RIDGE was held up in the early and middle stages of the run home with driver B Orange advising that he had not activated the removable deafeners.
 
Race 9 PETER YEALANDS WINES CUP PRELUDE (HANDICAP PACE) Video  Video 
BACKUP tangled at the start.
DYNAMIC PARTY broke briefly over the early stages.
CYCLONE KIWI raced wide from the 600 metres then weakened over the final stages.
GRADUATE UNDER FIRE was held up in the early stages of the run home.

At the request of the TAB this race was started one minute late.
SHAKEY LOCH weakened from the 900 metres.

DONEGAL JIMMY DAVE and DIGITAL ART both broke as the start was affected losing their chance. The stewards placed warnings on the barrier record of both runners.
Near the 1800 metres THATS BETTOR and WHYAMIBETTOR locked wheels momentarily inconveniencing FRANCO SALISBURY.
DIGITAL ART had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home, with driver D Dunn not activating the sliding blinds.
