Race 1 JOIN THE 2015 ATC RACING SYNDICATE MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
Favourite DARCEE (A Herlihy) after settling at the rear was improved to sit parked one out without cover at the 1200 metres, then paced roughly approaching the 200 metres and was uneven in its gait throughout the run home.
IMAJOLLYWALLY was held up for clear racing room for the majority of the run home.
 
Race 2 MITAVITE HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
DJOKOVIC broke at the start and settled back.
CYCLONE LUCKY SEVEN broke when leading after 200 metres settling at the rear.
CYBERSPACE broke near the 2300 metres losing considerable ground.
HANOVERDAKASH broke near the 1900 metres refusing to settle and losing all chance.
JOGO BONITO broke approaching the 400 metres.
PETITE ONE was inclined to lay in and trot roughly round the final bend.
MAKAREWA JAKE trotted unevenly throughout the run home.
 
Race 3 BRECKON FARMS YOUNG GUNS SERIES (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
WALKINSHAW and LAZARUS were both half a length off the mobile gate at the start.
KILLER QUEEN broke shortly after the start losing several lengths recovering to settle at the rear of the field.
SABRAGE broke near the 1300 metres resulting in the trailing CODE BLACK having to take evasive action.
KIMANI when racing one out without cover, raced greenly and veered outwards to race three wide approaching the 900 metres losing two to three lengths before improving forward to race one out without cover again.
Driver J Dickie (MOTOWN) dropped his foot for a brief distance when activating gear early in the run home.

TE KOUKA BREEZE was a length out of position at the start. Driver M Nicholas was reminded of his obligations to maintain his mobile barrier position.
ROCKY SIX broke at dispatch losing all chance.
QUEEN KENNY broke briefly near the 150 metres.
An investigation established that QUEEN KENNY broke after contacting the sulky of MONSEIGNEUR when being restrained by driver D Dunn in an attempt to find racing room. QUEEN KENNY was racing keenly at the time of this incident.
 
Race 5 ALABAR SIRES STAKES 3YO FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL (MOBILE) Video  Video 
JOANEDNOBETTOR broke going into the bend near the 1900 metres resulting in DEMOCRAT PARTY being inconvenienced and taken wider. A warning was placed on the racing manners record of JOANEDNOBETTOR.
CLASSICAL ART when in a position outside the leader, over-raced giving driver N Rasmussen a difficult drive. Driver N Rasmussen advised that CLASSICAL ART over-raced after a removable deafener prematurely released.
THE ORANGE AGENT raced four wide from inside the 1100 metres. This filly raced erratically inside the 400 metres veering outwards covering extra ground however, when balanced ran on for 5th placing.
Authorisation of payment of 1st placing of DEMOCRAT PARTY (Z Butcher) was withheld until such time as the Stewards reviewed the video coverage of an incident inside the 1100 metres when THE ORANGE AGENT (M McKendry) was forced to race wider on the track. After taking into account the margin between 1st placing (DEMOCRAT PARTY) and 5th placing (THE ORANGE AGENT) (12.1 lengths), the Stipendiary Stewards took no further action, however, provided the opportunity to the connections of THE ORANGE AGENT to lodge a Protest which was not proceeded with.
An Information was lodged alleging that Horseman Z Butcher was in breach of the Push Out Rule (869)(4) and 869(6)(b) and (c) in that he improved DEMOCRAT PARTY from two wide to three wide, forcing THE ORANGE AGENT to race wider on the track between the 1100 metres and the 1000 metres. The charge was admitted with the JCA imposing a fine of $350.00.
When questioned regarding the performance of KATY PERRY, driver T Mitchell reported that despite being pressured in the middle stages, the filly had shown little response from the 700 metres and was disappointing.
 
Race 6 MAJESTIC HORSE FLOATS HANDICAP TROT Video  Video 
MOMENT OF TRUTH was not claimed from this event.
HOT PANTS swung sideways at the start and lost considerable ground.
JASINSKY broke when leading near the 2200 metres and refused to settle losing its chance. A warning was placed on this mare's racing manners.
MUM'S PRIDE trotted roughly and broke near the 2100 metres settling near the rear.
IDLE BONES broke passing the 1800 metres.
MOMENT OF TRUTH broke near the 1800 metres settling back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Authorisation of payment of 1st placing of MUM'S PRIDE was withheld until such time as it was confirmed that this gelding was not in breach of the Breaking Horse Regulations after it galloped passing the 2100 metres.
An investigation was held into the breaking of IDLE BONES (B Mangos) which was racing at the rear of the field after contesting a position with MUM'S PRIDE (J Stormont). It was established that IDLE BONES after shifting ground inward to the running line broke when driver B Mangos took hold to take evasive action away from the galloping JASINSKY.
 
Race 7 PGG WRIGHTSON NZ YEARLING SALES SERIES FINAL (MOBILE) Video  Video 
ZIN ZAN paced roughly and broke for several strides racing into the first bend settling at the rear. This colt paced roughly throughout the race.
The winner HAVE FAITH IN ME lay in under pressure near the 100 metres having to be straightened.
When questioned regarding the performance of MIGHTY FLYING MAJOR, driver B Orange reported that the colt had travelled comfortably in the running, however when pressured failed to respond and was disappointing.
 
Race 8 2014 LINCOLN FARMS FRANKLIN CUP (HANDICAP PACE) Video  Video 
BEYOND THE SILENCE broke shortly after the start, however recovered quickly.
NO DOCTOR NEEDED and WILLOW were held up rounding the final turn until near the 200 metres.
Driver J Dunn was questioned regarding the performance of the well supported FRANCO NELSON which finished 7th, 3.6 lengths from the winner. He advised that on the 5th December 2014, racing at Alexandra Park, the horse was used during the race and it failed to run on. His driving instructions today were to save the horse for one run as notified to the media, however, in hindsight he may have been better served to improve at the 1200 metres as he became a victim of circumstances after settling four back one out second last, with the field running a 55.5 half and a 26.0 quarter.
 
Race 9 JEN CAMPIN BLOODSTOCK NATIONAL TROT (MOBILE) Video  Video 
Trainers G and N Hope were issued with a minor infringement notice and fined $100.00 for presenting DONALDSON to race with fixed deafeners instead of the notified removable deafeners.
JACCKA JUSTY refused to move out of the pre-race circle and early in the score up and took no serious part in the race. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier manners of this gelding.
STENT racing three deep on the running line, was held up rounding the final bend and the early stages of the run home. STENT was improved in tight quarters inside of SHEEMON late in the run home and contacted pylons.
PRIME POWER from four deep on the running line, was shifted wider onto the track to obtain clear running rounding the final bend and over the early stages of the run home. This gelding trotted unevenly for the last 50 metres.

ROBBIE BURNS was caught four and three wide for the first 600 metres of the race.
JIMMY MACELROY contacted pylons when racing at the rear of the field rounding the home bend.
LITTLE RASCAL failed to gain clear racing room throughout the run home.
 
Race 11 HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LINCOLNS MEGASTAR broke shortly after the start refusing to settle and being retired from the event. A warning was recorded against the mare's racing manners.
THE FASCINATOR was held up early on the final turn.
JUST A DELIGHT was held up rounding the bend and in the run home until inside the last 50 metres.
