KINCASLOUGH hung inwards in the run home.
BOIZEL was denied clear racing room late in the run home.
BONECHIP trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
 
Race 2 DIRECT SECURITY SERVICES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
DUKE OF ALBANY broke after 150 metres, hampering SLUGGEM. A warning was placed on the racing manners of this gelding.
FIELD OF COURAGE hung inwards and paced roughly in the early stages.
NEVERTHELESS hung inwards on the bend near the 1400 metres and again passing the 800 metres.
FIELD OF COURAGE paced roughly and broke passing the 300 metres. Driver D. Butcher reported that the gelding had been striking the wheel discs throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DUKE OF ALBANY was held up in the early stages of the run home and paced roughly.
Driver J. Dunn (LITTLE RASCAL) briefly dropped his foot from the sulky rest when activating the removable deafeners in the run home.
Driver R. Brosnan (R J BOPPER) was shown the replay of the start and warned to ensure he starts from the correct barrier position when drawn on the unruly.

TILLY BROGDEN paced roughly passing the 1800 metres.
GOD FORBID gave ground from the 500 metres after racing parked throughout.
TILLY BROGDEN commenced to tire rounding the final bend finishing at the rear of the field. When questioned regarding the performance of TILLY BROGDEN, Driver D. Dunn explained that the filly had raced keenly throughout and the effort had taken its toll. Stewards requested a veterinary examination of this filly which revealed no abnormalities.
UNMISSUBLE was held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
Driver T. Macfarlane (EVEN FLO) reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
 
Race 4 ALABAR SIRES STAKES 3YO FILLIES (HEAT 4) MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
KATY PERRY hung inwards approaching the first bend.
KATY PERRY, JUBILEE PRINCESS and BETTER ROSE were all held up for clear racing room on the final bend and the early part of the run home.
When questioned regarding the performance of KATY PERRY, Driver D. Dunn reported that he was pleased with the effort of his filly.
Following the race JUBILEE PRINCESS underwent a veterinary examination which revealed a suspected fractured pastern. A veterinary clearance will be required prior to the filly resuming racing.

FIRST HOME was placed in restricted room approaching the 2000 metres after MIGHTY FLYING MAJOR shifted ground outwards. Driver B. Orange (MIGHTY FLYING MAJOR) was shown a replay and advised to exercise care when shifting ground.
FIRST HOME was held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
MIGHTY FLYING MAJOR had difficulty obtaining clear racing room early in the run home.
Driver B. Orange (MIGHTY FLYING MAJOR) was questioned regarding the tactics he adopted throughout the event. Mr Orange explained that after challenging unsuccessfully for the lead in the early stages, he elected to restrain and gain cover three back on the inner as he believed it would be more advantageous to obtain an economical run after the colt's early exertions. Thereafter, while an opportunity presented to improve outward near the 1100 metres, Mr Orange stated that in his opinion MIGHTY FLYING MAJOR was best advantaged by trailing well supported runners and this resulted in him obtaining a run near the marker line in the final straight. Stewards noted Mr Orange's explanation and found that his actions were reasonable given all the circumstances.
 
Race 6 JAKE SMIT MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
ASUKA was held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
ASUKA (Z. Butcher) shifted outwards near the 100 metres forcing IDEAL SUCCESS out onto SWEET ART which was checked and broke. Driver Z. Butcher admitted a resultant breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in the run home causing this incident. After hearing submissions on penalty and viewing the replays the J.C.A. imposed a fine of $250.
 
Race 7 CADUCEUS CLUB NORTHERN BREEDERS STAKES (MOBILE PACE) Video  Video 
VENUS SERENA raced three wide without cover until the 1200 metres.
LANCEWOOD LIZZIE over-raced in the middle stages.
PEMBERTON SHARD hung inwards rounding the final bend and in the home straight.
LANCEWOOD LIZZIE was held up for clear racing room over the early stages of the run home.

MOMENT OF TRUTH was not claimed from this event.
The start was delayed due to the gaiting strap on MAKAREWA JAKE requiring attention.
TERESKOVA broke soon after the start losing considerable ground.
I GOT RHYTHM raced wide in the early stages.
JASINSKY broke passing the 2300 metres refusing to settle and losing its chance. SUNNY VACATION and PARAMOUNT QUEEN were inconvenienced by the galloping JASINSKY.
SUNNY VACATION broke briefly near the 800 metres after being shifted wider on the track by MOMENT OF TRUTH.
PARAMOUNT QUEEN had a tendency to lay in throughout.
MOMENT OF TRUTH hung inwards and broke briefly near the 400 metres and continued to hang inwards throughout the home straight.
SUNNY VACATION trotted roughly in the run home before breaking passing the 100 metres.
 
Race 9 HYDROFLOW FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
LOOK AND LISTEN paced unevenly in the score up and was slightly out of position at dispatch.
PRINCESS ARTS over-raced in the early stages.
LOOK AND LISTEN hung inwards near the 1500 metres despite the efforts of Driver B. Orange when improving to the lead placing MISS DAISY in restricted room, checking the trailing SHARDON'S SHERALEE and inconveniencing AQUICKONE, KIRRA KID, JULIETTE BROMAC and WESTGATE CHICK. A warning was placed on the racing manners of LOOK AND LISTEN.
SHARDON'S SHERALEE paced roughly near the 1400 metres.
PRINCESS ARTS raced roughly near the 800 metres and again early in the run home.
SHARDON'S SHERALEE struck pylons on the final bend and tired over the concluding stages.
 
Race 10 JOIN AN AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB RACING SYNDICATE TROT Video  Video 
MONSEIGNEUR, GINTARAS, WINGS ON FIRE and VENTIMIGLIA broke at the start.
SHARDON'S PEARL broke after 100 metres.
WINGS ON FIRE broke passing the 1900 metres and lost all chance.
ROCK TONIGHT broke briefly near the 1800 metres.
GINTARAS was denied clear racing room until late in the run home.
