Race 1 HYDROFLOW MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
TEHORO HOLLY, ROCKET and DARK OPS broke in the score up with each runner losing considerable ground.
BEINN THARSUINN broke for a considerable distance in the early stages.
PRINCESS MACKENDON hung outwards and raced greenly nearing the 1500 metres with this enabling WAIHEMO ANGUS to improve out into the running line.
DARK OPS weakened passing the 600 metres.
WAIHEMO ANGUS tired passing the 400 metres which inconvenienced the trailing GRACE LIGHTNING.
CYCLONE JETER broke passing the 200 metres when racing prominently.
 
Race 2 WOODLANDS STUD - HIGHVIEW TOMMY MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
MOB STAR was well back on the unruly position at the start point. This gelding then commenced to tire from the 400 metres and broke passing the 200 metres. Trainer T McMillan advised he would be returning the gelding to the trials prior to resuming.
SUPRIYA raced keenly through the middle stages.
GOLD IN DEEP hung inwards through the back straight on the final occasion which crowded the racing room available to HALSTON BROMAC. This colt then hung inwards throughout the final straight and nearing the 150 metres shifted inwards when awkwardly positioned close to the sulky wheel of SUPRIYA.
HALSTON BROMAC weakened passing the 400 metres.
MARSHAL STAR was held up on the final bend.
MAJOR STRIDE weakened passing the 400 metres after receiving an economical trip throughout. When questioned with regard to the performance of MAJOR STRIDE driver S McNally could offer no explanation for the performance. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed an extremely slow recovery rate and on the advice of the veterinarian the gelding was stood down pending a clearance. Trainer D Anderson advised he would be having blood tests taken in the coming days.
 
Race 3 LINDAUER LAWN AFTER DARK PARTY 14 FEBRUARY MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
BANORA BOY raced wide and without cover until the 1400 metres when it was taken forward to lead.
LAVROS CASH failed to progress forward when three wide without cover from the 700 metres which in turn impeded the forward progress of HUNTER BROMAC, GERALD and BETTOR ME.
GERALD broke on the final bend and lost its chance inconveniencing the improving BETTOR ME which had to be steadied for several strides. Driver T Chmiel (GERALD) advised the gelding had been striking its sulky wheels prior to breaking.
 
Race 4 DAKINS GROUP HANDICAP PACE Video  Video 
MILLWOOD PINK LADY (B Williamson) was placed close to the barrier strand prior to the start and as a result the barrier brushed the front legs of this mare when activated. MILLWOOD PINK LADY paced away and broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Driver B Williamson will be spoken to regarding the standing start procedure.
IRISH KATH broke at the start and lost ground.
ALBUQUERQUE which raced three wide from the 1400 metres compounded passing the 600 metres. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no clinical abnormalities.
BUZKIL raced roughly on the final bend.
LITTLE TESS shifted up the track under pressure in the run home.
Stewards spoke with drivers A Veint (LITTLE TESS) and R Close (ALBUQUERQUE) regarding an incident near the 1100 metres when the improving ALBUQUERQUE was shifted to a four wide position momentarily. After viewing available films with drivers Close and Veint it was established that LITTLE TESS had improved outwards prior to ALBUQUERQUE reaching its wheel and no further action was warranted.
Driver A Veint (LITTLE TESS) was cautioned for the manner in which he used his whip over the final stages.
 
Race 5 PRIME PANELS NZ MOBILE TROT Video  Video 
ALL LIT UP broke prior to despatch and lost considerable ground.
DANKE broke in the early stages inconveniencing THE BOG with DANKE losing its chance.
JAMES CASTLETON broke passing the 450 metres when racing in the trail.
THE BOG was held up on the final bend.
SHELL SEEKER broke over the concluding stages.
 
Race 6 GRAPHITE DEVELOPMENTS LTD SHOW DAY FUTURITY CONSOL (MOBILE) Video  Video 
GRACIOUS STAR raced keenly through the middle stages.
CHRISTIAN LADY raced roughly near the 600 metres and lost a length in consequence.
NUI TOC TIEN was held up on the final bend and had difficulty obtaining clear racing room through the middle stages of the run home.
Driver G Smith (GRACIOUS STAR) advised he did not activate the hopple shorteners due to the mare feeling unbalanced in its gait. Mr Smith further advised he would be recommending the hopples be tightened prior to its next start.
 
Race 7 DODD & ASSOCIATES LTD MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
TOKOHOKA, IWANNABEBIG, NERO STAR and MAGIC OATS were about a length out of position at the start.
SOMEARDENSOMEWHERE's under-check broke nearing the 1400 metres.
HAPPY HEIDI raced keenly through the middle stages and had to be heavily restrained when racing towards the 1200 metres when attempting to surrender the lead to the improving SOMEARDENSOMEWHERE.
MAGIC OATS raced keenly through the middle stages.
TOKOHOKA had a warning placed on its racing manners after it broke in the early stages of the run home and shifted inwards abruptly severely hampering MAGIC OATS which was attempting to improve.
The near side sliding blind did not activate on IWANNABEBIG. At the request of trainer B Hutton this gelding was subject to a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities.
 
Race 8 BLUE STAR TAXIS MOBILE PACE Video  Video 
RIVOTING hung outwards racing into the first bend and had to be corrected by driver R Close.
FOXY DAME raced wide in the early and middle stages.
BURN OFF broke at the 450 metres when tailing the field.
RIVOTING and SMART KAMWOOD were held up on the final bend by the tiring SARAH P who sustained a punctured sulky tyre at this stage of the race.
LADY CULLENS REIGN and BEALE STREET BOY locked wheels leaving the final bend.
TINTINARA was inclined to shift up the track under pressure throughout the run home.
